TEACHER OF ART AND DESIGN

Maternity cover, Full-time, MPR

Required from September 2018 to July 2019, a well-qualified teacher of KS3, GCSE and A-level Art and Design. The Art and Design Department is busy, vibrant and successful and we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Art teacher. Knowledge of Digital Media would be an advantage.

Following an inspection in May 2013, we are proud to say that we were the first secondary school in Cumbria to have been judged “outstanding” under the new Ofsted framework; our Sixth Form was described as “first class” and the behaviour of our pupils ‘impeccable’.  We were recently awarded International School Status by the British Council reflecting our wide-ranging international links, activities, clubs, trips and events. There is a strong focus on in-house professional development and ‘supported accountability’.

Please complete an application form (available from Reception or click on the link below) along with a covering letter and return to Barbara Stanton, Headmaster’s Secretary.
