The Nelson Thomlinson School Virtual Open Evening

You will no doubt be starting to look ahead and think about the secondary school your child will be attending next September.  The law nowadays gives you the right to choose a school for your child.

There will be a series of video presentations by our Senior Management Team and our subject departments available below from Thursday 9 September.

Bespoke tours

Despite the very recent and cautious lifting of restrictions, we have decided at NTS – because of the continued high prevalence of COVID and the latest variants in Allerdale – to resort to a virtual open evening (as we did last year). Although the majority of what you would have heard via live presentations can be viewed online through our website, it seems a shame that parents do not have immediate face-to-face access to members of the Senior Management Team after the presentations as they would have done in previous years. Please note, therefore, that tours of the school site (which will happen “live”) will be conducted by members of the Senior Management Team and there will be ample opportunity to ask any questions you may have during the tour. If you have questions you would like to ask more privately, there will be an opportunity at the end of the tour. To book your tour phone 016973 42160.
